Am I allowed to say that the NPV of my MBA project was positive, since I successfully made it to the end?
Ten months ago, I had the privilege of sharing on this platform that I was starting the MBA at Collège des Ingénieurs des Ingénieurs (CDI), a merit-based program spanning Paris, Turin, and Munich.
Those ten months were intense. They were filled with learning and challenges, moments of doubt and anxiety, but also genuine excitement and joy. They also meant living out of a suitcase: during this time I lived in Brandizzo, Turin, Paris, Westerham, and Milan, met incredible people, and was constantly reminded of how much I still have to learn.
So, after these ten months, I can confidently say that I now know that EBIT is not just EBITDA without the "DA"; NPV doesn't stand for "Non-stop PowerPoint Videos"; and a strategic pivot isn't simply corporate speak for "we completely messed up our first plan."
Jokes aside, this experience has been one of the most valuable of my life. Beyond the business frameworks and finance concepts, what I'll carry with me are the lessons on teamwork, communication, problem solving, and taking initiative. Those are the skills that, I believe, will stay with me long after I forget a few accounting formulas.
I'm deeply grateful to everyone who made this journey possible. First and foremost, I thank God, whose guidance and love have accompanied me throughout this experience.
A sincere thank you to the entire CDI staff for designing such a unique program and creating an environment where we could continuously challenge ourselves and grow. Thank you to all the professors for sharing not only their knowledge, but also their experience and perspective. And thank you to all my peers: working alongside such talented and driven people has been both inspiring and humbling. It has truly been an honor to be part of the S25 Intake, and I am proud to now be part of the CDI alumni community.

As I pack my suitcase once again and leave Milan, I know that this is only the beginning and I'm excited for the next challenge ahead as I join the highly selective ION Trading's Leadership Development Program as a Business Analyst.
