Springboard for Tech Entrepreneurship
The Collège believes that entrepreneurship and innovation are more than part of a curriculum — they shape how our Fellows think and lead. Entrepreneurial thinking is essential for entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders in general.
6 unicorns & 300 startups by our alumni
More than 300 tech startups and companies have been created by alumni of the Collège des Ingénieurs, either directly after their graduation or after several years of professional experience. Most of the startups are based in Europe (France, Germany, or Italy) or North America. This represents 1/10 of all CDI alumni. The other 9/10 are very often pursuing a corporate career and are actively in charge of innovation — very often as intrapreneurs or, later in their careers, as general managers.
Venture Building Classes at CDI (such as Venture Lab, Open Innovation, Brain to Market, DeepTech Venture Bootcamp with the Max Planck Society, or Innovation4Change) are an important ingredient of the MBA programme. They all encourage an entrepreneurial spirit and have led to the creation of tech startups and successful businesses. Our Fellows are able to access intimate and tailored coaching throughout each project they undertake, in the form of seminars or one-on-one discussions.
The network of more than 3,000 alumni plays an important role: alumni serve as early investors and mentors, as well as advising young alumni on how to become successful founders. Alumni also intervene in our classrooms to share valuable, first-hand experience.
