Challenges for successful management
At today's masterclass with the German, French and Italian fellows, Dr. Olaf Berlien, CEO of Osram Licht AG, demonstrated how interesting the subject of light is. In his lecture at the IHK Westerham, Dr. Berlien not only talked about the difficulties in the industry and the corresponding challenges for a successful management. The future strategy of OSRAM Licht AG with regard to current technological developments was also on the agenda. In the ensuing discussion with the fellows of the 33rd year, Dr. Berlien answered questions about the soft skills required as a CEO, about complex decision-making processes within the company and about sustainability.
