Professor Michael Rockinger, HEC Lausanne

Prof. Rockinger is one of the most renowned European professors in the field of global finances and is part of the top-class professors of the Collège. For many years now, he teaches finances and investments and imparts the Collèges’ Fellows very useful knowledge for their career path.

Prof. Rockinger joined HEC Lausanne after having been based, for 10 years, at the HEC School of Management in Paris. He visited the London Business School, Dartmouth College, the Université of Californie San Diego (UCSD) and the New Economic School in Moscow. He is also the scientific consultant at the French Central Bank. His research focuses on econometric modelling of financial assets, portfolio allocation, international finance, information contained in financial options and study of mutual fund families.

He holds a Master and PhD degree in Economics from Harvard University; a Master degree in Economics from HEC Lausanne and in Mathematics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology at Lausanne.
