Prof. Franco Vernassa

Born in 1958, Professor Vernassa graduated in Economics and Business at the University of Turin. He is a Chartered Accountant and an Auditor, and an expert in extraordinary transactions and international taxation. Since 1984 he has been involved in the auditing of financial statements of leading auditing companies. From 1988 to 2008 he was responsible for "Tax Affairs" for IFIL (now Exor) and its main subsidiaries (Alpitourand Juventus).

In 2009 he set up his own business and opened a tax consultancy firm with offices in Turin and Rome. Professor Vernassais a member of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Turin and a speaker at conferences and training seminars. He is currently Chairman of the Business Income Commission of the National Council of Chartered Accountants and a member of the Tax and International Tax Commissions of Confindustria.
